​In response to the wildfire crisis in Los Angeles, The Robert Nelson Foundation was able to provide a $30,000.00 gift to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation. The funds will go directly to the front-line fire stations. Thank you to the wonderful men and women of the LAFD and all those fighting these fires to save lives and communities. Homelessness affects people of all ages. The Shower of Hope organization in Los Angeles is committed to making a difference by providing mobile shower facilities for the homeless population as well as housing for homeless young people. The Shower of Hope is a wonderful example of an organization reaching out and helping those who need it most. The Robert Nelson Foundation recently gave The Shower of Hope a $5,000.00 grant towards operating expenses to assist with their mission. The Robert Nelson Foundation recently provided a $5,000 to the Academy of Music for the Blind based in Los Angeles. The foundation is honored to contribute to such a great cause. The grant will be used to continue to expand the teaching services of the staff to reach blind students using the power of music and technology to make a tremendous difference in the lives of these students. MAP (Minority Aids Project) is dedicated to empowering and enriching the lives of individuals surviving with HIV/AIDS and other health disparities by offering medical, mental health, spiritual, and physical health service to all underserved populations by making health related services and education available and accessible to everyone.
