Plumas Crisis Intervention & Resource Center (PCIRC) is a non-profit organization providing services to those in need in Plumas County, CA for over 38 years. The Dixie Fire Relief Fund has been established to support an array of emergency services to meet the needs of survivors and those who are displaced those in need in Plumas County.

All program participants receive intensive case management and are provided with basic needs including food, clothing, hygiene supplies, diapers/wipes and camping equipment, and gift cards for gas/food as available. Emergency housing through motel sheltering is provided to those with the greatest need based on availability in the region.

The Robert Nelson Foundation is proud to support this agency as it helps the residents of these communities face the challenges as a result of the wildfires in CA. The foundation has given a gift of $50,000.00 to help the Plumas Crisis Intervention & Resource Center with their efforts.

By reaching out to our small part of the world when we needed it most gave our staff the hope and strength to meet each day. We thank you for joining us in this partnership with your foundation during this journey.

For over 40 years, PAWS has transformed lives by providing Assistance Dogs to people living with disabilities. A custom-trained PAWS dogs means independence, confidence, companionship, dignity, and freedom for our clients. The Robert Nelson Foundation recently gave a gift of $10,000 to Safe Haven Ministries in Grand Rapids, MI. The mission of Safe Haven is to provide emergency shelter, non-residential services, and prevention and education to help those suffering from domestic abuse.

We are so grateful for the support from the Robert Nelson Foundation. This donation allows us to support families with children experiencing homelessness. Thanks to this gift we can provide moms and kids with safe emergency shelter, provide basic needs and help families move home!

The Robert Nelson Foundation is proud to partner with Project R.I.D.E.. Project R.I.D.E. Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit institution that provides therapeutic recreational horseback riding instruction to people with special needs in the greater Sacramento, CA region. Mr. Nelson had a special place in his heart for those facing the challenge of a disability. Project R.I.D.E. makes an incredible difference in the lives of the disabled students that they serve and The Robert Nelson Foundation is honored to help them continue to make a difference with a recent gift of $30,000.

What you have done for our riders is incedible and in a year of absolute uncertainty, you have made 286 lessons certain for them.
